Welcome to the icy planes of the Canadian Arctic … The lyrics for this song were inspired by the Franklin´s lost expedition and describe the last moments of John Franklin (at least as I imagine them).
The riff for the verses is somewhat thrashy while the other parts are mainly based on one type of riff, that is varied throughout the song. This song was rerecorded at the end of 2011 and is now even faster than the original version with some more diverse drumtracks. I also added a bass track and some keyboards.
