“Pure Black” is my first Black Metal-Song. I wanted to pick up the typical repetition and monotony of some of the early Black Metal songs and so one riff is the foundation for the greater part of this song. This is also the first time that I´ve used the Black Metal vocal style.
The lyrics deal with those people that fuck up their (and subsequently your) lives because they only care about themselves and don´t give a shit about others. The people who are sick in mind and willfully try to hurt you. The narcissistic people.
